Dr. Allen Gabriel

 Dr. Allen Gabriel is the Director of Research in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University. He graduated from the University of Nevada School Of Medicine, and completed General Surgery and Plastic Surgery training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. This was followed by a prestigious fellowship in both Aesthetic Surgery and Breast Reconstruction/Enhancement. 

Dr. Gabriel is very interested in the humanitarian aspects of plastic surgery. He was recognized by being one of the few medical students in the country to receive the prestigious Humanism in Medicine Award. Having a keen interest in outreach, he has volunteered on medical mission trips to and South America , and he is interested in continuing this work.

In addition to his current work with patients, Dr. Gabriel has spent a significant amount of time with research and authorship. During his undergraduate studies, he successfully completed a research fellowship at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. Since then, he has authored or peer reviewed over three dozen publications. He has authored several chapters in educational text books. He is currently is conducting clinical studies in the areas of breast reconstruction, breast augmentation, wound healing and capsular contracture.  

Dr. Gabriel’s clinical practice and expertise is very broad at Loma Linda University as he routinely performs aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body. His clinical interests lie in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery, facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, and body contouring after massive weight loss, liposuction, and anti-aging medicine.
