Dr. Michael E. Hill

Dr. Michael Hill is an Associate Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at Loma Linda University. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. 

He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and completed general surgery training at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.  This was followed by fellowship training in Plastic Surgery at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine.  Dr. Hill also earned a PhD in Anatomy from the Medical College of Virginia / Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dr. Hill's clinical practice and expertise is very broad at Loma Linda University as he routinely performs aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, breast, and body.  He is currently the Department's liaison to the Loma Linda University Breast Health Center where he consults with our breast surgery team on reconstructive breast cases.  His clinical interests lie in reconstructive and aesthetic breast surgery, facial aesthetic and reconstructive surgery, body contouring after massive weight loss, liposuction, and anti-aging medicine. 

Dr. Hill is an important member of the Department of Plastic Surgery's educational curriculum for medical students and residents and lectures to the undergraduate medical students on anatomy as part of their core education.  Like the other members of the Department's Faculty, he has been involved with International Plastic Surgery service and education in Panama and China.
