Center for Joint Replacement celebrates grand opening The Center for Joint Replacement was officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Ribbon-cutting participants included (from left) Eileen Zorn, MS, RN, LLUMC senior vice president of nursing; Christina Jobe; Linda Miller, knee replacement patient; and Allen Gustafson, MD, director of the Center for Joint Replacement at LLUMC and assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. The LLUMC Center for Joint Replacement, located on the hospital's eighth floor, was officially opened last fall. The Center is the third premier site of Biomet, a leading prosthesis company, and the first on the west coast. Patients at the Center stay in one of ten private rooms in a unit designated solely for joint replacement.
