Fashion show promotes breast cancer awareness

The six model participants/cancer survivors come together at the end of the "Making the Most of Me" fashion show and receive a final applause: (from left) Ann Hutchins, Peggy Wilson, Victoria Jackson, Joyce Miller, Lynette Wildvank, and Linda Halsey.
More than 500 people attended the fourth annual "Making the Most of Me" fashion show last fall, sponsored by Loma Linda University Cancer Institute and Riverside's Nordstrom at Tyler Galleria.
The goal of the event was to promote breast cancer awareness.

To encourage women to be screened for breast cancer, the Cancer Institute operates the Women's Health and Mammography Center in Nordstrom at the Health and Beauty Center.

Women can walk in or make an appointment for a mammogram, and shop while they wait.
For hours or an appointment please call (888) 558-4001 or (800) 78-CANCER.
