Gala raises funds for Children's Hospital
Child Protection Center
Nearly 675 individuals attended the Children's Hospital Foundation's
Fifth Annual Gala in February. The theme of the black-tie event was "Kaleidoscope
of Kids: An Evening of International Celebration."
Clare Sheridan, MBBCh, was presented with a check totaling $71,634 for
the Children's Hospital Child Protection Center from the gala proceeds.
Five "Hometown Heroes" also received recognition for their work
with children in area communities.

the Fifth Annual Children's Hospital Foundation Gala, five "Hometown
Heroes" were recognized for their commitment to improving the
lives of children. Honored were (from left) Eric Sandoval, DDS, Apple
Valley dentist; Jerilyn Simpson, president and CEO, San Bernardino
Communities Against Drugs, Inc.; Gwen Knotts, RN, coordinator, San
Bernardino County Precious Babies program; Linda Cavola, volunteer,
Ramona-Alessandro Elementary School in San Bernardino; and Brent Bailey,
City of Colton firefighter/paramedic. |
