Ms. Bechtel presented a check for $10,000 to the Cancer Institute from the proceeds of The No Fear Challenge.   Loma Linda University Cancer Institute was one of two charities to divide the $20,000 proceeds from The No Fear Challenge held last fall at California Speedway in Fontana. No Fear, maker of sport and casual clothing, was the title sponsor of the 100-lap NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race. No Fear challenged other companies and individuals to join them in helping people with cancer through the LLU Cancer Institute and the Bald Eagles Foundation. Carolyn Bechtel, a NASCAR friend and member of Winston Cup Racing Wives Auxiliary (WAXX), visited Loma Linda to present the $10,000 check to the Cancer Institute. WAXX members joined No Fear in helping to make the fund-raising event a success. Ms. Bechtel and friend Marla Vance also visited children with cancer in the Children's Hospital.
