Stress Relief for Busy Parents

Parents juggle many responsibilities. It can get stressful—and hurt your health. Headaches, high blood pressure, and heart disease are all potential results of long-term stress. Here are some relieving tips:

  • Make a to-do list; check off completed tasks.
  • Be realistic about what you can do. Say no to unnecessary activities.
  • Parents need downtime, too. Work out or meditate—whatever relaxes you.
  • Schedule time to play with your kids.
