Kids recipe: Easter Popcorn Eggs
12 cups popped popcorn
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1 bag (10 oz.) marshmallows
Food coloring
-Place popped popcorn in a very large bowl and set aside
-Melt butter and marshmallows in a saucepan on low heat
-Stir mixture constantly until smooth, divide
-Add your choice of food coloring to each divided mixture such as green, yellow, blue or pink
-Pour melted marshmallow mixture over the popcorn
-Mix carefully until all the popcorn is well coated
-Divide popcorn in batches to add food coloring mixtures
-Form into egg shapes (put a little butter on your hands to keep mixture from sticking to you)
You can also decorate these by using colored icing or frosting
Makes 10-15 eggs
