Kids recipe: Toasted Pumpkin Seeds
- 3 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Make sure you ask an adult to help you.
CLEAN AND DRY pumpkin seeds so there is no part of the pumpkin on it.
MELT butter onto a cookie sheet.
LAY AND EVENLY SPREAD the pumpkin seeds over the
buttered sheet.
SPRINKLE with salt.
BAKE in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
SHAKE the pan every 4 minutes to ensure even baking.
