Board of Trustees Report to the Constituencies 1997 Laboratory services Approximately 800,000 tests were performed in 1997 by LLUMCâs department of laboratory services. 1997 highlights Installation of a new laboratory information system: Relocation of the blood bank from second floor to the main laboratory on lobby level. Continued expansion of the molecular diagnostics section.
