1997-98 academic year highlights
The residence hall worship program is considered an integral part of Christian education at LLU. Worship opportunities are offered in residence halls; attendance is required for undergraduates.

Chapels meet on Wednesdays from 8:10 to 9:00 a.m. The programs provide a variety of opportunities for the entire University community to benefit from teaching which integrates faith and learning, and to confront current issues and the implementation of faith in secular life.

One to two times every quarter the individual schools are responsible for conducting their own chapels.

Campus Hill Church of Seventh-day Adventists

  • Back to Basics Vespers, every Friday evening
  • Sabbath School Collegiate Class--ãContemporary Issuesœ

University Church of Seventh-day Adventists Collegiate Sabbath School serves the worship needs of LLU students in the Campus Chapel.

Lunch Power is offered on Tuesdays during the autumn, winter, and spring quarters. School of Allied Health Professions students are invited to participate in a meal and listen to a spiritually uplifting talk. Free tickets are made available to each department for distribution to interested students and faculty. The number who participate varies between 30 and more than 100 per session.

The School of Public Healthâs chapel, called Happy Hour, is conducted every Wednesday at noon. It is an alternative chapel service to Wednesday morningâs required chapel for all students. Each week, a light lunch is provided.

Loma Linda University Student Association religious activities

  • Spiritual retreat, Camp Cedar Falls, April 17 and 18
  • Bible studies (scheduled by various groups)
