Administrative director of emergency department receives Edgar C. Hayhow Award

Brent A. Fisher, FACMPE, assistant clinical professor of health administration, School of Public Health, and administraive director, Loma Linda University Medical Center emergency department, received the American College of Healthcare Executives 2000 Edgar C. Hayhow Award for his article, "The Emergency Department and Managed Care: A Synergistic Model." He received the award on March 28, 2000, for the article which appeared in the July/August, 1999, issue of the Journal of Healthcare Management.
