CAHQ receives award

Renee "Sam" Hills, RN, executive director of quality resource management/medical staff administration at LLUMC, has served as president of the California Association for Healthcare Quality (CAHQ) for the past year. This organization sponsors statewide educational programs, offers networking opportunities and support to professionals engaged in quality improvement, and monitors legislative decisions that affect health-care quality. The CAHQ received the Silver Award for Association Excellence at the National Association for Healthcare Quality meetings this year. The award was given for CAHQ's dedication to quality health-care management.
