Medical Center and Children's Hospital announce new affiliation

Loma Linda University Medical Center and Loma Linda University Children's Hospital announced September 7 that they have entered into an affiliation with La Salle Medical Associates.

La Salle Medical Associates is a physician organization that provides medical care to more than 20,000 Medi-Cal patients throughout the Inland Empire. Under the direction of its president, Albert Arteaga, MD, a local pediatrician, La Salle Medical Associates has been a pioneer in the provision of Medi-Cal services to the Hispanic population throughout San Bernardino County. During the past few years, La Salle has become one of the largest and most respected physician groups serving the Inland Empire Health Plan and Molina clients. La Salle presently has offices in San Bernardino, Fontana, Lake Elsinore, and Hesperia, as well as Independent Practice Associations offices throughout the region.

LLUMC and LLUCH are pleased to provide the full scope of hospital services to La Salle patients. Loma Linda has long been committed to providing services to the Medi-Cal community and sees its affiliation with La Salle as an opportunity for patients in the region to better access the comprehensive services at LLUMC and LLUCH through the physicians of La Salle Medical Associates.
