Medical Center ranks among top U.S. cancer centers

Loma Linda University Medical Center ranked 46th among cancer centers in the 10th edition of America's Best Hospitals, the annual and exclusive ranking developed by U.S. News. The ranking, which represents the only rigorous assessment of all 6,299 U.S. hospitals, provides a good resource for patients who need the latest in diagnosis or treatment.

Rank is based on a hospital's overall score, or U.S. News index, which is made up of three equal parts-reputation, mortality rate, and a set of other data such as technology and nursing care.

In all, 50 hospitals were listed this year as America's Best Hospitals for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
