Public Relations Society accredits Medical Center publications editor
Loma Linda University Medical Center publications editor Kimberly Hillhouse, MA, was recently accredited by the Public Relations Society of America.
Ms. Hillhouse is on the board of directors and is president-elect of the California Inland Empire Chapter of the Society.
A graduate of Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska, Ms. Hillhouse received her master of arts degree in communications with an emphasis in public relations from California State University, Fullerton, in 1996.
Ms. Hillhouse has worked in the Medical Center's community relations office for the past five years.
PRSA is the world's largest organization for public relations professionals. Its 18,000 members represent business and industry, counseling firms, government, health care, education, professional service firms, and nonprofit organizations. The Inland Empire Chapter has 80 members who practice in Riverside and San Bernardino counties.
