Radiologic technology AS degree program receives maximum accreditation

The associate degree program in radiologic technology in the School of Allied Health Professions has received an eight-year accreditation award, the maximum duration awarded by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).

The program was evaluated according to the Standards for an Accredited Education Program in Radiologic Sciences (1997).

According to Joyce W. Hopp, PhD, MPH, dean, School of Allied Health Professions, specialized accreditation awarded by JRCERT offers institutions significant value by providing peer evaluation and by assuring the public of quality professional education in the radiologic sciences.
