LLU&MC offers mobile news

Loma Linda University and Medical Center is now one of only nine schools in the nation to have personal digital assistant or PDA sync capabilities with AvantGo.com, a leader in information technology with more than 1.2 million mobile consumers registered.
Loma Linda University and Medical Center news, events, job listings, and Trading Post are now available as a channel on AvantGo.
AvantGo is a mobile application that supplies downloadable web content for handheld devices running on the Palm OS, Windows CE, or Pocket PC and web-enabled phones.
The University can now reach hundreds of Loma Linda University alumni, students, faculty, and potential recruits with Loma Linda University and Medical Center information or simply a greeting sent directly to their PDA.
Job listings for both the Medical Center and University are made available to prospective employees across the nation and around the world.
Along with the AvantGo channel, the web department will soon be releasing a PQA file which will allow handhelds with wireless modems to access the same information. To sign up for the news channel, simply click the set up AvantGo link on the LLU&MC homepage located at <http://www.llu.edu>.
