Toyota donates $149,500 to LLU Children's Hospital
Toyota Motor Sales USA has made a donation of $149,500 to Loma Linda University Children's Hospital that will provide new resources for patients and their parents.
The donation will be used to establish the Toyota learning center, an area of the Children's Hospital combining features of classroom, library, media center, and communications hub for pediatric patients and their families.
The family learning center will provide seamless integration with school-based programs of instruction, health and medical information resources for patients and their families, and inter-hospital communications through the STARBRIGHT world program between children who are hospitalized with serious illness or injury.
The center will be located near the Children's Hospital cafeteria and could be completed as early as July.
