Roger Hadley, MD, completes first quarter as new dean of the School of Medicine

| Roger Hadley, MD, the new dean of the School of Medicine, began his duties on January 6 of this year. |
H. Roger Hadley, MD, has completed his first quarter of duties as dean
of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He was appointed dean
on January 6.
Dr. Hadley is board certified in both urology and general surgery. He received
his bachelor of science and medical degree from Loma Linda University, graduating
Alpha Omega Alpha. After completing his general surgery residency at Loma Linda,
he went on to the University of California, Los Angeles, for his urology training,
where after residency he completed a fellowship in neurourology, urodynamics,
and female urology. He became an assistant professor at Loma Linda University
in 1983, rising to professor and chair of the department in 1990.
Dr. Hadley’s focus involves evaluating and treating women with bladder
control problems, both medically and surgically. He also treats male urinary
incontinence and leakage. Dr. Hadley continues to be very involved in the medical
community both locally and nationally, belonging to numerous societies, committees,
and boards. He has been the president and CEO of Loma Linda University Health
Care since 1995. Dr. Hadley has published and lectured extensively, and is internationally
recognized for his research in female urinary incontinence.
Under his leadership as both chief of the section of urology and program director
of the urology residency program since 1990, Dr. Hadley completed two accreditation
visits for the residency program and received the full five-year accreditation
each time.
