Loma Linda University & Medical Center News December 2, 1999 Third and fourth quarterly Rideshare winners announced for LLU&MC Third and fourth quarterly Rideshare winners announced for LLU&MC Lucille Yhip Loma Linda University and Medical Center Rideshare programs offer congratulations to the following individuals whose names were drawn for the quarterly Rideshare Weekend Get-a-way grand prizes. Each received a gift certificate worth up to $500 from Carlson Wagonlit/University Travel, located in Loma Linda. Lucille Yhip, an administrative assistant in the Loma Linda University planned giving department, won LLU's third quarterly Rideshare drawing. Ms. Yhip's claim card was drawn from among 251 University Rideshare participants who turned in their claim cards. Ms. Yhip carpools with her husband, J. Patrick Yhip, CPA, director of the University's grants management department. They commute five days a week and have been a part of the Rideshare program since October, 1991. Richard Pesulima Richard Pesulima, an accountant in the LLU grants management department, was selected as the University winner for the fourth quarter. Mr. Pesulima's claim card was drawn from among 210 University Rideshare participants who submitted their quarterly claim cards. Mr. Pesulima commutes five days a week and has been a part of the Rideshare program since March, 1993. Danny Senner, who serves as a central service technician, won Loma Linda University Medical Center's third quarter Rideshare drawing. His claim card was drawn from among 669 Rideshare participants who turned in their quarterly claim cards. Danny Senner Mr. Senner carpools with his wife, Maria, an employee of the LLUMC quality resource management department. They carpool approximately four to five days a week. Mr. Senner has been involved in the Rideshare program since December, 1992. Robert Cole, shop manager for construction and architectural services, won the Medical Center's fourth quarter Rideshare drawing. Robert Cole Mr. Cole's claim card was drawn from among 628 Medical Center Rideshare participants who turned in their quarterly claim cards. He carpools three days a week with Peggy Bazemore, LLUMC Rideshare coordinator. Mr. Cole has been participating in Rideshare since November, 1996. The Rideshare claim card is a way of documenting the program member's daily mode of commuting to work.
