Dr. Pollard interviewed by Adventist Communication Network Leslie N. Pollard, DMin, special assistant to the president for diversity, Loma Linda University, was recently interviewed by the Adventist Communication Network for "First Wednesday," which is produced by the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. This interview focused on various youth initiatives of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Dr. Pollard was asked to talk about summer youth programs and their importance for Seventh-day Adventist youth. The program aired Wednesday, July 7. "First Wednesday" is a monthly program providing inspirational and informative news and mission reports about the worldwide Seventh-day Adventist Church and its members. The program includes five eight-minute segments of "OnLine Edition," "WorldStory," "WorldNews," "ADRA Report," and "North American Report." The program airs the first Wednesday of each month, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., eastern time. Reportable crimes The Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990 requires Loma Linda University to publish interim reports on campus crime activities.
