commencement continued.

Terri Ann Bergfold, a reporter
with the Fresno Bee newspaper, receives the Alumna of the Year award
on behalf of Isao Nara, PhD, PT. Dr. Nara is a professor in the
department of physical therapy at Hiroshima University School of
Medicine, Japan.

Marie
DeLange, RDMS (left), receives the School Distinguished Service Award
from Dr. Hopp. Ms. DeLange is clinical program director of medical
sonography, SAHP department of radiation technology and ultrasound/vascular
manager, LLUMC ultrasound department. |

Joni Thurber (right) is presented
with the Dean's Award by Joyce W. Hopp, PhD, MPH, dean of the School
of Allied Health Professions. She received a BS degree in speech-language
pathology and audiology.
