Rosemary Chung, master of physical therapy graduate, looks on as Dr. Hopp announces her as recipient of the Dean’s Award during the physical therapy graduation. Ms. Chung was recognized for her scholastic excellence, community service, and dedication to supporting student activities at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Hopp receives congratulations from Lisa Beardsley, PhD, MPH (right), vice president for academic affairs, Loma Linda University, after B. Lyn Behrens, MBBS, president, Loma Linda University, surprised Dr. Hopp with the President’s Award. Dr. Hopp will retire as dean of the school in September, 2002. Looking on is Richard H. Hart, MD, DrPH, chancellor and CEO, Loma Linda University.
As fellow occupational therapy graduates receive their diplomas, (from left) Janice Aguila, Christen Biles, and Elizabeth Chung wait offstage. Ms. Aguila, Ms. Biles, and Ms. Chung completed their master’s of occupational therapy entry-level degrees.
Speaking for both the physical therapy and allied health graduation ceremonies, Dr. Behrens addresses the audience at the School of Allied Health Professions graduation. Her commencement address was titled “Living Life Deliberately.”
Kerri Martin, medical radiography graduate in the department of radiation technology, is congratulated by her husband following the School of Allied Health Professions graduation ceremonies.
Dr. Hopp presents Grenith Zimmerman, PhD (left), professor of biostatistics and associate dean for research in the School of Allied Health Professions, with the school’s Distinguished Service Award.
Dr. Hopp honors Craig Wallace, surgical technology graduate in the department of cardiopulmonary sciences, with the Dean’s Award.
Husband and wife Justin and Amber Schober share the excitement of graduation with their daughter as they prepare to receive their master’s of physical therapy entry-level degrees.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in health information management, Felicia Chao (second from left) poses with her family. Ms. Chao was honored with the Chancellor’s Award, the most prestigious student award given during the allied health graduation ceremony.
