School of Pharmacy deanŐs and honor roll lists released for fall quarter

The executive committee of the School of Pharmacy reviewed the performance of each student, and has released the dean’s and honor roll lists for fall quarter.

To achieve dean’s list status, students must: achieve a term grade point average of at least 3.7, and receive no incomplete grades for the quarter. The following students are on the dean’s list for fall quarter: Teri Diem, Chau Nguyen, and Joanna Robbins.

To achieve honor roll status, students must: achieve a term grade point average of 3.30 to 3.69, and receive no incomplete grades for the quarter. The following students are on the honor roll for fall quarter: Warren Chae, Ferchie De La Rosa, Alice Mkrtchyan Khalil, Quang Anh Le, Chioma Ndulue, Joann Ha Nguyen, Quynh-Nhu Hoang Nguyen, Dekyi Norbu, Veda Roshan, John Wicklive Tobing, and Sophia Hsiao-Wei Wang.

School of Pharmacy holds white coat ceremony

The pioneering class of the School of Pharmacy read the professionalism pledge during the white coat ceremony.

The pioneering class of the School of Pharmacy was dedicated at a white coat ceremony held Sunday, February 2, in Wong Kerlee International Conference Center. More than 150 family and friends gathered to witness the occasion. The 34 students in the class of 2006 represent more than 15 different ethnic groups and nearly a dozen varied religious affiliations.

Participating in the ceremony were W. Barton Rippon, PhD, dean, School of Pharmacy; Richard H. Hart, MD, DrPH, chancellor, Loma Linda University; as well as several School of Pharmacy faculty.
