Department of psychology's psychological services clinic welcomes new director

Graham Stacey, PhD

The department of psychology welcomes Graham Stacey, PhD, as the new director of the psychological services clinic. He brings an extensive background to the position administratively, clinically, and educationally. He holds two master's of arts degrees: an MA in biomedical & clinical ethics, an MS in marriage and family, and a PhD in clinical psychology. In addition, he is an ordained minister in the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and has held positions as pastor, clinic administrator, health educator, and as a counselor and clinical psychologist both in California and Australia.

The baton of leadership was passed to him from John Flora-Tostado, PhD, prior clinic director, who now serves the department as director of clinical training for the PsyD clinical psychology program. "Dr. F-T," as he is affectionately called, built a high-quality facility in which student trainees could hone their clinical skills and further their experience.

Dr. Stacey is poised to continue the clinic's outstanding service to the community and ensure the tradition that has been firmly established. Dr. Stacey's knowledge and experience contribute to his ability to be alert and sensitive to the community's ever changing climate. With an eye toward the future, his expectations are high as he moves the clinic in a direction of growth and development that parallels clients' needs while maintaining a focus on providing top quality services and highly trained staff.

The clinic provides comprehensive psychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults who are in need of assessment, testing, and who are experiencing problems in learning, adjustment, or cognitive decline.

Psychological counseling and therapy are offered in a variety of formats in order to effectively assist persons in coping and resolving problems associated with the daily stresses of life. The clinic offers a wide range of high-quality and affordable services that are designed to help people of all ages. All services are supervised by licensed psychologists. To accommodate the varied schedules of clients, appointments are available during daytime and evening hours, Monday through Friday. Fees at the clinic are determined with the client at the time of intake based on the client's annual income and number of dependents. To make an appointment or to inquire further about the services and programs at the clinic, contact Cynthia Tucker at (909) 558-8576. The clinic's address is: 11130 Anderson Street suite 117, Loma Linda, California 92350.
