School of Dentistry holds orientation for dental and dental hygiene students September 17 to 19

 

 
William Hooker, PhD, MFCC, associate dean for student affairs, visits with new students during the pool party.

Kathleen Moore, MHIS, director, alumni association, assists students as they sign up for the Century Club. The students were given three instructional CDs, and enjoyed juice and cookies.
The new students learn the proper way to brush and floss from Rhonda Hamerslough, instructor, dental hygiene.
   
Charles Goodacre, DDS, MSD, dean, welcomes the students on their first day.
The pool party, held at Drayson Center, was a great success.
   
Ron Dailey, PhD, associate dean for academic affairs, reviews school policies and procedures.
Keith Golay, PhD, an educational psychologist and author, presents "Understanding Your Learning Style."
   
New dental and dental hygiene students begin their first day of orientation in Prince Hall.

IDP graduation dinner and celebration held

The School of Dentistry International Dentist Program senior banquet was held September 10, 2002, in the Wong Kerlee International Conference Center. Classmates, faculty, family, and friends celebrated with the graduates as they received awards and shared memories of their time in the program.
