Nearly 500 seniors attend
Senior Day at Drayson Center

| More than 200 senior guests registered for Senior Day 2003,
and close to 500 seniors attended the September 26 event. In

| The area just past the service desk was busy throughout the
day. Senior volunteers and Drayson Center staff were on hand
to direct seniors to the various events and activities. |
 |
| Low-impact aerobics, led by David Hessinger, PhD, professor
of physiology and pharmacology, School of Medicine, drew a crowd
of participants and spectators. |
 |
| Vivi Burns, director of membership services for the Just for
Seniors program, helps direct several seniors to the next event.
Just for Seniors co-sponsored the event and had a booth where
new members were able to sign up. |

| Many of those who attended were cheerfully greeted by senior
volunteer Pat Gillies. |
