First patient born on Unit 3800


Les Morton (left), director of communication network services for Loma Linda University Health Services, and his wife, Lona, a surgery nurse at LLUMC, welcomed their first child, William Alexander Morton, into their family on August 8.
Les Morton (left), director of communication network services for Loma Linda University Health Services, and his wife, Lona, a surgery nurse at LLUMC, welcomed their first child, William Alexander Morton, into their family on August 8. Mrs. Morton and Alexander were transferred on August 9 to Unit 3800, becoming the first patients on the newly opened unit. William Alexander weighed 7 pounds 15 1/2 ounces and measured 19 3/4 inches long.
