A national contemporary music group, Selah, will appear in concert as part of the Calimesa Community Concert Series on Saturday evening, April 14, at 7:30 in the Loma Linda University Church of Seventh-day Adventists.

Co-sponsored by the concert series at the University Church, the visiting performers include Todd Smith, Amy Perry, and pianist Allan Hall.

This is the third time that the group has performed in the Inland Empire region. The group played to a full house in 2005.

The Selah group has won five Dove Awards, two consecutive Dove Award nominations for group of the year, two No. 1 hits, and five top singles.

The group has appeared on a number of television programs including the “700 Club” and “The Hour of Power,” as well as an appearance at New York’s Carnegie Hall. Recently they toured with the well-known contemporary group Watermark.

Tickets for the event are $15 for reserved front seating and $10 for open seating. Tickets may be purchased at the Loma Linda and Riverside Adventist Book Centers, the Colton and Riverside Berean bookstores, and at the Loma Linda University students affairs office.

Tickets may also be obtained by sending a request with the correct remittances and a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Concert Series, P.O. Box 647, Calimesa, California 92320.
