Medical Center announces administrative appointments Loma Linda University Medical Center has appointed two staff members to vice president positions, according to Ruthita J. Fike, MA, chief executive officer.
Named to the position of vice president for mission and ethics is Gerald R. Winslow, PhD. Dr. Winslow is also vice chancellor for spiritual life & wholeness for Loma Linda University, and vice president for spiritual life & wholeness for Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Winslow is responsible for overseeing the chaplaincy program and leading the Medical Center’s work in ethics.
Cindy Schmidt, executive director for the Medical Center’s patient business office, has been named vice president for revenue cycle.
Ms. Schmidt will continue to be responsible for the management of the patient registration/access, financial services and will be taking on the development of hospital services.
“Both appointments support the mission and strategic plan of LLUMC,” Ms. Fike says.
