Surgical oncology team announces new staff member

The faculty and staff of  Loma Linda University School of Medicine and Loma Linda University Medical Center Cancer Institute announce Sharmila Roy-Chowdhury, MD, as an addition to the surgical oncology team.

Dr. Roy-Chowdhury joined the surgical department as a faculty member for the division of surgical oncology. She recently completed a fellowship in surgical oncology at the University of Pittsburgh. 

Prior to that she completed residencies in general surgery, otolaryngology and head and neck surgery at Staten Island University Hospital, University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and Seth G. S. Medical College in Bombay, India. Her medical degree was earned at the University of Madras, India.
