Lot X will reopen on September 24

Beginning Monday, September 24, 2007, parking lot X will re-open having an additional 200 spaces totaling 931 parking spaces. Parking lot X has been closed for construction since June 11. Construction was scheduled during the summer session because of the reduced need for student parking during that time.

The Drayson Center parking lots on Stewart and Shepardson Streets offer temporary parking for LLU and Medical Center employees. Two additional shuttle stops have been added: one at each entrance of the Drayson Center parking lot on Shepardson Street.

The drop-off and pick-up location at the Medical Center will be on Prospect Street by the School of Dentistry parking lot. The shuttle will run every five minutes starting at 5:30 a.m., continuing until 7:00 p.m. (after 7:00 p.m., a shuttle will still operate with a slightly longer time between pick-ups).

Students, faculty, and visitors are asked to park in Medical Center designated spots and on residential streets only where signs permit. If parking in other areas than these, individuals without correct parking decals will receive a parking ticket.

LLU asks for your continued cooperation during this process.
