School of Pharmacy names new associate dean

Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy has named a  new associate dean for assessment and professional affairs.

Nancy Kawahara, PharmD, who has served the School as chair and associate professor, department of pharmacy practice, will fill this new post.

The School’s PharmD program recently received the maximum accreditation available for a new pharmacy degree program from the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Dr. Kawahara’s appointment represents the School’s emphasis on assessment.
