Students offer health disparities symposium
Juan Carlos Belliard, PhD, MPH, speaks about diversity during an October 31 lunch symposium organized by LLU’s health disparities student taskforce. Following Dr. Belliard’s talk, a panel convened to further discuss diversity. Panelists were Vaneta Condon, PhD; Marino De Leon, PhD; and Eric Walsh, MD. The event was sponsored by the Center for Health Disparities and Molecular Medicine. The health disparities student taskforce is planning to host quarterly symposia.
