‘Jerusalem Women Speak’ national tour visits Loma Linda University
Wejdan Jaber, a Muslim Palestinian, tells LLU students about the hardships of life for many Palestinians. She and the two women seated in the background—from left, Hagit Ra’anan, a Jewish Israeli, and Abir Kopty, a Christian Palestinian citizen of Israel—are the speakers for the 14th national Jerusalem Women Speak tour. This tour allows the women to discuss current circumstances in Israel and Palestine, as well as their hopes for a better future.
