Water purification system installed in Prince Hall

A new closed water-processing system manufactured by Waterclave is providing sterile water to dental chair units in Prince Hall.

“For many years,” says Stan Lillard, foreman, dental maintenance department, “School of Dentistry staff manually filled water containers that supplied each dental chair from two-and-a-half gallon water jugs. This was done each day.”

As they installed the water purification system, dental maintenance staff worked in Prince Hall attics and above drop ceilings. They created holes in walls to interface the new system with existing dental chair plumbing.

The new water system provides purified water to the main clinic, east wing, international dentist program, and urgent care/ endodontic clinics.
