Special services director completes work for fundraising fellowship The director of special services for Loma Linda University Medical Center department of radiation medicine, J. Lynn Martell, DMin, completed his work for a Milton Murray Fellowship in September.
Dr. Martell attended an 11-day executive program for non-profit leaders at Stanford University.
“It was a great learning experience both at Stanford and working with the individuals at the Milton Murray Foundation for Philanthropy,” Dr. Martell says. “I was one of four individuals who were named fellows this year from the Murray foundation.”
The Milton Murray Foundation for Philanthropy was founded in honor of Milton Murray, pioneer in philanthropy in the Seventh-day Adventist Church and beyond. Mr. Murray has spearheaded advancement efforts among Seventh-day Adventist institutions throughout the United States and around the world that have impacted their ability to make a great difference in the lives of others.
