Editors attend communicators meetings

Four publications editors from Loma Linda University and Loma Linda University Medical Center attended the Society of Adventist Communicators annual convention in Portland, Oregon, October 20 to 23, 2005. They joined more than 130 communications, public relations, and marketing professionals from Adventist educational institutions, hospitals, churches, and the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists. The theme for the conference was “Give them something to talk about,” and seminars highlighted the future of communication, media impact on public perception of Adventists, effective publications, marketing and branding, and the 10 biggest mistakes in Christian media, among others.
