Employees presented with year end options at employee benefits fair
On October 27, Loma Linda University Medical Center’s human resource management department held the employee benefits fair in Wong Kerlee International Conference Center.
More than 25 booths filled the room, sharing information on the many benefits offered to employees of the Medical Center, Loma Linda University Behavioral Medicine Center, Loma Linda University Health Care, and the new corporation Loma Linda University Health Services.
The grand prize drawing from the fair, sponsored by Principal Financial Group, was given away along with information on benefits.
November is the month to elect contributions for 2006 flexible spending accounts. Contact the department of risk management at extension 44386 to see how this pre-tax account can save you money for all those expected medical costs such as eye glasses and doctor visit co-pays.
December is open enrollment month for both medical and dental coverage. Any employee not already participating in the plan may take the opportunity to enroll or extend medical and/or dental coverage to a spouse or child.
