Students for International Mission Service holds annual open house
SIMS participants gathered under a culturally decorated white tent for dinner and social time. “The event gives a chance for students to share stories about their experiences while encouraging others to venture out on a mission trip,” expresses Martine Polycarpe, MPH, director of SIMS.
Ms. Polycarpe presents Matt Shillito, second-year medical student, with $100 for winning the SIMS photo contest. Mr. Shillito went to Papua New Guinea this past summer. The other photo contest entries are displayed inside the SIMS cottage.
