Loma Linda University Medical Center news

LLUMC ranked among nation’s best hospitals

Loma Linda University Medical Center was ranked as the 45th best hospital in the nation for the treatment of ear, nose, and throat problems according to a survey by U.S. News & World Report.

“We are very pleased because we’ve worked hard over the last five years to recruit a department of fellowship-trained physicians in every subspeciality of ENT,” says Alfred Simental, MD, chair of the department of otolaryngology/head and neck surgery at LLUMC.

“We perform every procedure in ENT at our hospital,” Dr. Simental says. “We specialize in major head and neck cancer surgery with reconstruction.

The U.S. News & World Report guide ranks 170 hospitals across the country in 16 specialty fields.
