Red Cross recognizes School of Public Health The Inland Empire chapter of the American Red Cross gave LLU School of Public Health the Good Neighbor Award during the chapter’s 2008 annual meeting. This award is given in recognition of humanitarian contributions supporting the Red Cross. Specifically, the School of Public Health Center for Public Health Preparedness works to prepare the community for emergencies and disasters such as earthquakes, fires, and pandemic influenza. Accepting the award is Jesse C. Bliss, MPH (right), associate director of the Center for Public Health Preparedness. He is pictured with Tapie Rohm, PhD, board chair of the Red Cross Inland Empire Chapter.
