Three Loma Linda women honored by Assemblyman Bill Emmerson

Three Loma Linda women were among 63 women honored at the fourth annual women of distinction lucheon presented by Cali­fornia state assemblyman Bill Emmerson, DDS.

Recognized were Ardis Beckner-Eggebrecht, MS, assistant professor of nutrition, School of Allied Health Professions, a nationally recognized metabolic nutritionist; Romana “Romy” Niblack, senior wellness coordinator at Loma Linda University Drayson Center; and Hyveth Williams, DMin, senior pastor, Loma Linda Campus Hill Church and adjunct professor of religion at Loma  Linda University.

The event celebrated the accomplishments and contributions of 63 women who live or work in California’s 63rd Assembly District.

“All have made a difference in their communities through their diligence, dedication, and determination,” says Assembly Emmerson.

Each year, Assembly Emmerson honors 63 women in his 63rd district for their outstanding contributions to society.
