LLUMC welcomes interim medical director of the cardiomyopathy program Liset Stoletniy, MD, has accepted the position of interim medical director of the cardiomyopathy program and adult cardiac transplant. Dr. Stoletniy is well-known to the heart failure patients and staff, and comes with a strong background in clinical cardiology and a deep interest in patients—both in improving outcomes and quality of life. Dr. Stoletniy will serve in the role until a permanent replacement is found for Thomas Heywood, MD, who is leaving for Scripps Clinic in San Diego, where he will develop their heart failure program.
