School of Dentistry listed in top 100 schools granting most degrees to Hispanic students Loma Linda University School of Dentistry has been named in the top 100 hundred institutions in the United States granting the most degrees to Hispanic students.
In the May, 2004, issue of Hispanic Outlook, Loma Linda University School of Dentistry was number 10 on the list of dental schools granting degrees to Hispanics during 2004.
Twenty-nine states and the District of Columbia make up the top 100 lists for all degrees. California led the nation in granting degrees to Hispanics with 76 institutions in all degrees categories, followed by Texas, New York, Florida, and Illinois.
Heading up the list of dental schools granting degrees to Hispanics was New York University, New York; followed by the University of Texas Health Science, San Antonio. Loma Linda University School of Dentistry was number 10 on the list.
