Desert Thunder donates $3,500 to LLUCH

On December 20, 2005, Desert Thunder “A Children’s Charity” donated $3,500 to Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital. The ninth annual Desert Thunder motorcycle run from the Inland Empire to Primm, Nevada, raised a total of $20,000.

The ride is organized by Desert Thunder, a children’s charity non-profit, fundraising organization sponsored by the sheriff’s department. More than 800 bike riders took part in the ride, which first took place in 1996.

The $20,000 was distributed to five different children’s services: Victor Valley Footprinters Chapter #63, Morongo Basin Footprinters Chapter #71, Greater Las Vegas After-School All Stars, San Bernardino County Children’s Fund, and Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital.
