Faculty member to keynote Inland HIV conference Eric G. Walsh, MD, MPH, medical director of East Campus Urgent Care, will be a keynote speaker at the second annual Inland Empire HIV Conference. The event, sponsored by the Riverside County Department of Public Health, is planned for February 8 at Morongo Resort Hotel, 49500 Seminole Drive, Cabazon. The all-day event begins at 7:00 a.m.
Dr. Walsh is working on HIV prevention in China. The other keynote speaker will be Anthony M. Mills, MD, who teaches at UCLA’s medical school and specializes in HIV care.
Workshops will address new treatments, crystal meth use among people with HIV, nutrition, and barriers to care.
