Gala recognizes individual contributions to LLUAHSC mission

Barry L. Taylor, PhD (left foreground), vice chancellor for research affairs, LLU, was among those individuals receiving the Vanguard Award for the “Mission of Healing” at the Loma Linda University Adventist Health Sciences Center (LLUAHSC) Centennial Gala, “Looking Back to the Future,” held on April 9. Handing him the award is Lawrence D. Longo, MD, distinguished professor of physiology and pharmacology, LLU School of Medicine.

Recipients of the Vanguard Awards for Mission of Wholeness acknowledge the applause of those attending the LLUAHSC Centennial Gala, held in LLU Drayson Center. During the evening, a number of individuals who have contributed to the LLUAHSC mission “to make man whole” were recognized for their service and presented with awards.
