School of Nursing recognized for donations to Mexico school
Administrators from the School of Nursing received a special award during an impromptu ceremony held March 23, 2006. The award was given in recognition of 25 computers, 50 tables, and 150 chairs that the School of Nursing donated to Colegio Niños Héroes, Villaflores, Chiapas, Mexico. “This donation has enabled us to be competitive with other schools in our area,” says Victor Manuel Alvarez, member of Fundación Icoro AC., a friend of Colegio Niños Héroes.
